Anna kept saying how the sand on the beach is so different than the playground sand…
No encouragement was needed to get in the water…
A difference between Northern California and East Coast – looks like the ocean belongs to her! No wonder – water temperature is well under 70.
It’s impossible to get the scale of those giants in the picture. Here Anna is playing in the exposed roots of the tree. She was calling it her “hamster house”.
Anna could go through “the tunnel” in this tree without even bending much…

Thanks for linking up! I love the photos and miss the CA coastline so much!
Beautiful pictures. This looks like such a pleasant weekend. We were at the Outer Banks of NC for the past couple of days and the water temp was below 70 too! It was the only thing that kept us from roasting on the 90 degree beach.
Little Wonders' Days
What a fun weekend!
I miss the California redwoods - so beautiful!
What a wonderful weekend!
I remember seeing some of the huge CA Redwoods. I was amazed that one stump had been polished down for a dance floor. They truly are awesome.
wow those trees are amazing - cool pictures :)
I LOVE the thawing out picture! Glad she enjoyed it so much! I have a picture of a friend standing up in a hole in one of those redwoods. SO cool!
I love it! Hamster house......
Redwoods are so gorgeous.
The trees are amazing. Bet she lived going through the tunnel.
Looks like a great weekend!
Love the photos -- Anna must have had SO much FUN!!!
Love the photos and I can tell how much Anna had exploring this rich nature. The redwood trees are massive and impressive. The tree trunk tunnel is what every kid would love to live in!
