We went to a birthday party on Saturday with Tinkerbell surprising kids with puppet show, balloon animals and face painting. While Anna had her face painted, she was chatting with Tinkerbell:
- Anna: I don’t think you are a real fairy. I think you are a human in a costume.
- Tinkerbell: But I am a real fairy! See – I have wings and pixie dust.
- Anna: But it looks like your wings come off. They don’t grow out of your body! And your pixie dust looks a lot like glitter to me. And fairies are tiny, and you are pretty big!
Tinkerbell: Well, see, I am a fairy that is all grown up now.
I am linking this to Tiny Talk Tuesday hosted by Not Before 7.

love it! That poor woman trying to answer Anna
Yesterday, I witnessed a little boy look up and around and said," Santa watches us all the time!" i thought it was the cutest thing. After reading Anna's comments, now I think she's the cutest thing!
This is so cute! The questioning from Anna, then the conclusion of it being a real fairy. I just love their innocence, while processing and questioning the things they just are not sure of.
How cute! I love that she is so perceptive and so innocent at the same time.
What wonderful processing...and I love her conclusion because she was told she was real!
So cute. We went to a birthday party that had Cinderella and the kids had so many questions - when is your birthday, where are your glass slippers, where is Prince Charming? It was funny. When we had Cinderella at R's party, we made sure she would have glass slippers and prepared her for the questions kids ask.
Her questions are so smart and I love that she kept them coming. So sweet that she believed in the end.
That last picture of Anna is so, so pretty.
Oh, visit to Santa should be interesting, if you do that with her? Crumpet just started watching the Tinkerbell movies and loves them (I'm so happy - I've had enough violent kid movies...) so he would have been thrilled to meet Tink!
Man, that woman had to be a quick thinker to pull the wool over your child's eyes. :)
Cute stuff!
