The Art Box #2

This week the art box had some craft foam, scissors, scrap paper, bingo page from Making Learning Fun, glue, markers, stickers and googly eyes. Anna spent first 15 minutes shredding foam paper into “salad” and asking for more. Then she proceeded to trace her hands. Interestingly, generally she doesn’t like to get her hands dirty, but doesn’t mind at all when they are all covered in marker paint. Then she discovered googly eyes, and  it gave her other ideas. She put together this monster from the materials in the box, and then was done. It was definitely not as long as the first time, but she was in a bad mood that day anyway. Still – the art box seems to gain popularity here even though she still strongly prefers structured projects.
